Viking Video Response - Chris

Going along with what many have already said, I too was surprised to learn about the numerous misconceptions surrounding the vikings. Prior to watching the video, I thought about my initial assumptions of the vikings, but it was neat to actually see Nova's explanation of their lifestyle and innovation. I was most impressed by their engineering capabilities when constructing their ships. I found it intriguing that the vikings left no written history of their conquests or accomplishments, I suppose they may not have cared about being remembered or glorified. All in all, the Nova video was a telling story of how the vikings truly lived and how their innovation has had an impact after they were gone.
